Biography

Antonio Baena has realized computing studies and of music at the conservatory. Guided by his two great passions he decided putting them together for developing his artistic creation, due to the great possibilities given by this combination.

His career could be said that started at 2004, when he finished the music of his first work “Three autumn notebooks” (“Tres cuadernos de otoño” in Spanish), it was a work composed by a group of poems which enclosed the music. This has been a concept which has come with him up to date, because of all his work has been included under this same idea, they are works with a common point: the autumn has a source of inspiration and as a resource.

In this way, at 2004 he finished another work called “Far from home” (“Lejos de casa” in Spanish) based on a group of poems of “Three autumn notebooks” that developed more the sound of his first work, it went ahead looking his musical identity.

At 2005, just finished “Far from home” and starting to prepare “Autumn tree that feels in spring time” he decided having a little break in order to clearing his mind and he realized a simpler and relaxed work, with a sound very conventional, it was called “With light the empty spaces” (“Con luz los vacíos” in Spanish), work with not too much importance because it was that, a break between two more important ones.

He finished “Autumn tree that feels in spring time” (“Árbol de otoño que siente primavera” in Spanish) at 2006, project that took him almost a year due to the complex of his concept, he had to forge many ideas that later where dropped, some of them where ahead to the thrash and another ones made the work “Shadows of the autumn” (“Sombras del otoño” in Spanish) published at 2007. Also under the concept of “Three autumn notebooks”, it’s based in another poems group of it and it wants to be the final point of this cycle of autumnal works.

He started publishing his work at 2006, up to that moment he hadn’t found the way for it because he wanted putting it for free access. That year appeared his netlabel 'taller de horas' in the form of this website “tallerdehoras.org”. Here he has found the perfect place because all his work is set out as free downloads on mp3 files.
